Off Premise Beer Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Off Premise Beer Sales Representative to join our team at Union Beer Distributors. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting and growing our portfolio of world-class craft, import, and domestic beers in the New York City market.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Maintain Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing accounts, including retailers, restaurants, and bars, to promote our brands and increase sales.
- Brand Representation: Represent our brands in a dynamic and competitive market, ensuring that our products are properly merchandised and displayed.
- Account Growth: Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to grow our presence within existing accounts.
- Merchandising and Inventory Management: Ensure that accounts are properly stocked and merchandised with our products, including permanent and paper point-of-sale materials.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Business Development: Develop and execute business plans to drive sales growth and increase market share.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with our marketing team to execute brand development programs and promotional materials, and maintain open communication with account personnel and supplier teams.
- Education and Experience: A degree or equivalent work experience is preferred, but not required.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Age and Driver's License: Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid New York State driver's license, with access to a vehicle for sales routes.
- Industry Knowledge and Skills: A passion for beer, superior customer service skills, and the ability to build relationships with customers.
- Physical Demands: Ability to bend and lift heavy objects regularly, with a strong comfort level with technology.
- Language Skills: Must be able to read and write in English, with bilingual skills in Spanish a plus.
