Job Summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Real Estate Asset Manager to join our team. As a key member of our asset management team, you will be responsible for managing a renewal pipeline of approximately 100 retail stores per year, as well as office and warehouse properties, and store closure processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide project management, analytical, and technical services to the asset management team to support store, office, and warehouse renewals, relocations, right-sizing transactions, remodels, and store closures.
  • Manage lease extensions and terminations, amendments, dispositions, and store closures.
  • Collaborate with asset management directors, partners in finance, facilities, design, planning, legal, and construction to ensure project completion.
  • Develop and maintain lease databases, track key lease dates, and communicate data to the asset management team to ensure timely execution of real estate strategies.
  • Support the execution of store development projects, including downsizing, in-center relocations, remodels, and AMEC/AMC presentations.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or higher in a related field, such as law, real estate, or a similar field.
  • 10+ years of experience in the retail and/or real estate industry with demonstrated management skills in retail portfolio management.
  • Strong understanding of legal concepts and real estate documentation, with experience building presentations that professionally communicate executive-level committee information.
  • Highly organized individual with meticulous attention to detail and time-critical dates.
