Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Class Programs and Reunion Campaigns to join our team at Georgetown University's Office of Advancement. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing class engagement and giving for five undergraduate alumni classes, overseeing a team of five, and leading the strategic development and implementation of significant projects such as fundraising benchmarking, volunteer leader recruitment, and training.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the strategic vision and implementation of class ambassador recruitment and development.
  • Increase alumni engagement and giving for 20-30 classes, managing volunteers for five undergraduate alumni class committees.
  • Develop external fundraising and engagement goals for all classes managed.
  • Tailor and implement engagement and solicitation strategies for each class.
  • Work independently and collaborate with Development colleagues and volunteers to solicit gifts from alumni.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing professionals, leading a team of five professional staff members.
  • Manage one programming and operating budget.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a development/fundraising environment and experience managing volunteers.
  • Desire to contribute to and participate in the mission of Georgetown University with a track record of high achievement and meeting or exceeding goals.
  • A proven ability to think strategically and develop strategic plans.
  • Ability to lead by example and through instruction with exceptional interpersonal skills and a proven experience developing deep, lasting relationships.
  • Ability to think creatively and innovatively with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Motivated, self-starter with a desire to work in a team environment.
  • Professional and collegial demeanor with the ability to exercise diplomacy.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft & Google Suite.
  • Experience and comfort working with complex metrics and analysis with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
Work Mode Designation

This position has been designated as Hybrid. Please note that work mode designations are regularly reviewed in order to meet the evolving needs of the University.

Pay Range

The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is: $54, $100,493.33

Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University's business needs and external factors.
