This role is not intended for Desktop Support or Help Desk functions. The Implementation Coordinator will play a crucial role in Readiness and Implementation Support initiatives.

Working in close collaboration with the Readiness Lead, this position will organize meetings, workshops, and other events to advocate for and maintain effective communication with state and county personnel regarding CWIS-related issues affecting Child Welfare.

The Coordinator may also liaise with other CWIS business, policy, and project team members to troubleshoot, replicate, and report errors or unexpected outcomes within the CWIS, escalating issues to management as necessary.

This position requires a strong understanding of NC Child Welfare policies, CWIS/NC FAST functionalities, and the service delivery mechanisms employed by counties to assist new users in navigating and inputting data into the new system.

Significant travel throughout the state is a requirement for this role.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in change management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with NC Child Welfare policies
  • Experience with SharePoint and JIRA

Travel expenses will be reimbursed according to state protocols for expense submission post-travel. The contractor will either accompany a state employee in a state vehicle or use their personal vehicle, with mileage reimbursed after travel. Per diem will be paid directly to the contractor, and most hotel expenses will be billed directly through the state.

Required Skills:
  • Demonstrated knowledge of technical and program requirements in county social services (3 years)
  • Ability to interpret rules, procedures, and policies related to NC Child Welfare programs (3 years)
  • Capability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to meet stakeholder and agency objectives (3 years)
  • Proficiency in NC FAST navigation and application development (3 years)
  • Analytical thinking and active problem-solving skills (3 years)
  • Systematic and logical approach to problem resolution (3 years)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills (3 years)
