Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Youth Development Coordinator to join our team at Wabanaki Public Health and Wellness. The successful candidate will be responsible for empowering and preparing youth to make a positive impact in their communities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and facilitate youth programs, including relationship building with youth workers, curriculum design, program instruction, logistics planning, recruitment, and evaluation.
  • Collaborate with the WPH youth team to plan and implement youth gatherings and events.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for youth to develop social and emotional skills, empowerment, and voice.
  • Employ problem-solving skills to redirect youth behaviors.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience working in Tribal Communities.
  • Event planning experience.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year.
