At Northern Light Health, we are committed to providing exceptional patient care. We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant - Clinical Support to join our team in the Cardiac Unit of Eastern Maine Medical Center.

About the Role

This is a PRN position, requiring 0.3 FTE (12 hours). You will be working variable shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends.

The estimated salary for this position is around $18-22 per hour, depending on experience.

You will be responsible for performing secretarial duties, using your knowledge of medical terminology and hospital procedures. Your tasks will include scheduling appointments, billing patients, and compiling and recording medical charts, reports, and correspondence.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate assigned unit activities.
  • Manage patient records, including assembling and filing patient information.
  • Process physician orders, such as transcribing orders and flagging charts.
  • Coordinate the safe transport of patients and other items.
  • Accept responsibility for developing professional learning needs.
  • Maintain a safe environment, adhering to NLH policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
  • High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED).
