About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at HNTB. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the production and modification of design calculations, technical reports, engineering plans and specifications for assigned projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and distribute discipline-specific work, ensuring adherence to the schedule and budget on projects.
  • Assist in marketing responsibilities, including proposal generation.
  • Develop scope of work and level of effort for projects and/or assignments within discipline.
  • Oversee completeness and accuracy of project team's work within the technical discipline.
  • Coordinate technical aspects of project with client counterpart and teaming partners at staff level for work within the discipline.
  • Work closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Engineering and 5 years of relevant experience, or
  • PhD in Engineering and 4 years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Engineering
  • 8 years relevant experience
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification
  • American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) certification (depending on discipline)
