PROJECT ENGINEER
U.S. Engineering Innovations redefines national construction project execution. We spearhead advancements in off-site manufacturing, specialized prefabrication, preconstruction, and mechanical construction services.
As a Project Engineer, you will support the Project Manager in various project-related tasks, including planning and coordinating on-site construction activities for assigned projects, ensuring that project goals are met within the designated time frame and budgetary constraints.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare RFIs (Request for Information) and proposal documentation.
- Evaluate submittals and specifications while assisting in documentation and budget oversight.
- Support the Project Manager in developing and maintaining client relationships.
- Estimate change orders and assist in the development and monitoring of the project schedule.
- Maintain logs for procurement, proposals, and correspondence.
- Implement quality control measures.
- Conduct cost coding.
- Engage in project forecasting.
- Work scope may vary, encompassing one large project or multiple smaller projects.
- Some travel may be necessary.
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Science Management, Architectural Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
- Equivalent technical training and relevant experience will be considered.
- Technical or administrative experience in HVAC, piping, and plumbing at a commercial, industrial, or institutional level.
- Understanding of construction engineering technology, processes, and standards.
- Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset.
- Self-driven with the ability to achieve results.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to cultivate and maintain professional relationships.
- Basic business acumen.
- Capability to proactively identify potential issues and their solutions.
- The salary range for this position is set between $63,120 and $94,680, reflecting U.S. Engineering's good faith estimate at the time of posting. The compensation for the selected candidate will be determined based on various factors, including internal equity, experience, education, specialty, and training.
- In addition to salary, team members are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance, along with paid time off. An industry-leading benefits package, including health, dental, and vision plans, matching retirement contributions, and matching 529 contributions, enhances your overall compensation.
U.S. Engineering adheres to the Drug-Free Workplace Act, and all employment offers are contingent upon the successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening.
