We are seeking a highly skilled Loan Officer to join our team at Guild Mortgage Company. As a Loan Officer, you will play a critical role in the organization by performing a variety of activities directly related to the company's Production functions.
Key Responsibilities- Obtain accurate and thorough loan applications, ensuring completeness of submission to processing.
- Collect supporting documentation from borrowers, including paystubs, tax returns, and bank statements.
- Obtain executed disclosures within regulatory time frames and analyze credit reports and financial scenarios to determine appropriate loan products.
- Determine profitable loan options and communicate fees to the operations team.
- Submit complete loan packages to processing, ensuring all necessary documentation is included.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least two years of experience in mortgage lending or a related field.
- Active NMLS License.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, with strong detail orientation and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with data entry, PDF software programs, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
