Job Summary:

This is a full-time, permanent, classified position which is represented by a union.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a variety of office support services to the Security Operations & Reception Center Manager.
  • Assist with typing, filing, telecommunications, long and short term property storage, badging for staff and patients, coordination of admits and discharges, EOC data input/entry, Coordination with Trip Slips, assisting in Reception, parking registrations and LEDS.

Requirements:

  • Two years of general clerical experience that includes keyboarding, word processing, or other experience generating documents.
  • An associate degree in any field.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience.

Desired Attributes:

  • Valid Driver's License and good driving record.
  • Must be LEDS certified or able to get certified within 3 months of hire date.
  • Competency in verbal and written communication.
  • Customer Service Experience.
  • Computer Skills.

Working Conditions:

Requires working inside under crowded conditions. May be exposed to combative patients/residents and/or angry visitors. May be required to drive in adverse road conditions. Hours subject to change with little notice. May required to work hours that exceed regular schedule, i.e. a double shift or different shift in addition to regular schedule. May be required to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
