Overview

Chord Energy seeks a detail-oriented Land Operations Specialist to support non-operated programs in the Bakken and Marcellus.

Job Description

This role plays a key part in managing and tracking non-operated activities, including well proposals, project costs, joint interest billing (JIB), and revenue decks. The successful candidate will maintain internal databases and facilitate the approval process for non-operated ventures.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage incoming non-op proposals, AFEs, and well data, ensuring timely and accurate entry into tracking systems
  • Facilitate internal review and decision-making processes for new well and workover proposals
  • Create and maintain JIB and revenue decks, track elections, and manage spreadsheets related to non-operated projects
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have 2 years of experience in oil and gas land roles, with an emphasis on non-operated assets. Strong organizational and time management skills are essential, along with keen attention to detail and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.

Compensation

The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. A hybrid work schedule is available, allowing for remote work on Mondays and Fridays.
