CREDIT RISK REPORTING AND TRANSFORMATION MANAGER
WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?


The Credit Risk Reporting and Transformation Manager will oversee the Second Line of Defense Credit Risk Reporting for City National Bank (the "Bank").

This position will also engage in strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing Credit Risk Reporting to establish a more efficient and automated production workflow.

This role will be the primary point of contact for Executive Decks, Regulatory Decks, and Board Presentations conducted by the Chief Credit Officer and Senior Credit Risk Colleagues.

Strategic Transformation Projects will initially concentrate on the development and improvement of credit-related reporting, including regular reports for senior management, CNB Board, IHC, and CUSO, along with regulatory requests.

The position will report to the Manager of Credit Transformation and Portfolio Management and will collaborate closely with key partners such as the First Line of Defense Credit Products, Second Line of Defense Credit Risk, Enterprise Risk Management, Regulatory Relations, and 2LOD Financial Risk Analytics.

Additionally, this role will provide project management and execution of CNB Credit-related transformation initiatives.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Manage the department's strategic initiative to streamline and transform Credit reporting

Coordinate across departments and legal entities to ensure effective implementation of CNB regulatory and management credit reporting strategic initiatives

Collaborate with departmental colleagues to implement process enhancements and minimize manual production efforts


Oversee CNB regulatory reporting change requests related to CNB Credit Risk reporting for Management, CNB Board, CUSO, and other regulatory presentations.

Manage remediation of internal audit and Second Line of Defense findings related to automation efforts

Conduct production reviews and control assessments as necessary

Provide project management and execution of additional CNB Credit-related transformation initiatives

Synthesize credit data to deliver trend analysis and risk conclusions for board and regulatory reports

Present data and risk conclusions to management committees and regulators

Must-Have*Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

Minimum of 10 years of experience in credit, risk, and reporting

Minimum of 10 years of experience in the banking or financial services sector

Skills and Knowledge

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously

Strong project management capabilities

Comprehensive understanding of Credit Risk

Strong leadership skills and ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders

Ability to manage and develop team members

Capacity to perform thorough analysis and act with urgency and purpose when addressing challenges

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with proficiency in PowerPoint and reporting

Self-motivated with keen attention to detail and a strong work ethic

Proactive and continuously seeking improvement

COMPENSATION

Starting base salary:
$122,535 - $208,715 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This position is eligible for bonuses and/or commissions.
