This role serves as the primary administrative interface for patients, physician offices, and various departments for scheduling, pre-registration, collection, and registration. The Patient Access Representative II is responsible for gathering data to ensure accurate demographics and insurance information for the patient's financial record. The position requires flexibility of hours during weekdays and participation in quality control measures to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Gather and verify patient demographics and insurance information
• Participate in quality control measures to ensure efficiency and accuracy
• Collaborate with patients, physician offices, and various departments for scheduling and registration
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED equivalency
• Two years of registration experience and/or medical billing experience
• Knowledge of insurance contracts, PPOs, HMOs, workman's comp, Medicare, review boards, and medical group notification process and insurance verification
Working Conditions:
• Regular full-time position
• Days shift
Compensation:
Anticipated base compensation rate is in the range of $25.80 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
