Position Summary
The Senior Consumer Banker is responsible for managing existing client relationships while actively seeking new opportunities to enhance client engagement. This role involves direct business development and collaboration with internal teams such as Mortgage, Wealth Management, Small Business Banking, and Treasury Services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate account openings and maintenance tasks.
  • Operate a Teller drawer as required by management.
  • Engage clients through proactive outreach and follow-up communications.
  • Conduct daily activities that align with the First Financial Bancorp Experience, ensuring a high standard of service.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to provide expert solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Ensure timely follow-up with clients post-interaction.
  • Adhere to all operational and risk management protocols.
  • Perform additional duties to assist clients with transactions via various channels.
  • Exemplify First Financial's Mission and Values in all interactions.
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory and procedural standards.
  • Track and report business outcomes to the Financial Center Manager.
  • Work alongside District Specialists to implement retail strategies aimed at client retention and growth.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, fostering deep client relationships through effective communication.
  • Participate in team meetings and huddles to support sales and service initiatives.
  • Achieve or surpass sales, service, and referral targets set by management.
  • Provide digital support to clients utilizing online banking services.
  • Stay informed about all bank products and services, particularly those of a complex nature.
Qualifications
  • 3-4 years of experience in coaching or mentoring within a retail banking environment.
  • 3-4 years of proven success in sales and service roles.
  • High school diploma or GED required; 4-5 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is advantageous.
Skills and Competencies
  • Ability to address diverse client needs in accordance with bank policies.
  • Capability to lead teams and external sales initiatives.
  • Works independently with minimal supervision, applying established guidelines effectively.
Physical Requirements
  • Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent lifting of up to 10 lbs. and regular mobility within the workplace.
Compliance Commitment
All associates are expected to meet compliance requirements as mandated by state and federal regulations, including adherence to the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering standards.
