Job Overview

Ampersand Solutions Group is seeking a highly skilled Staff Software Test Engineer/Analyst to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing and a passion for delivering high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage the process of verifying system and software products operate and comply with requirements and/or design.
  • Coordinate the test process including test requirements, planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Provide technical expertise in testing and product knowledge, write test procedures and develop test plans.
  • Configure necessary hardware and operating environments as needed to complete assigned testing.
Requirements
  • BS in a related field or ABET accredited BS in an Engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years related experience including experience with software/system testing activities.
  • Experience in regression testing and performance testing.
  • Knowledge of and familiarity with the IEEE Standard for Software Verification and Validation.
  • Experience with systems and interoperability-level testing of various systems.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MS in a related field.
  • Experience with C/C++, Ada, or other programming languages.
  • Experience generating test report documentation.
  • Experience with the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with Static Code Analyzers (e.g: Fortify, Coverity, etc.).

Salary: $60,000 - $100,000 per year
