About the Role

Guidehouse is seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer subject matter expert (SME) to provide technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments. The successful candidate will establish goals and plans that meet project objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create software test and automate test cases
  • Perform application testing, validate bugs, and isolate issues
  • Write and initiate tests, analyze, and report test results in the ticketing system
  • Perform configuration management, change management, and release management
  • Maintain several legacy systems, minor enhancements to still-in-use applications, ensure continued authority to operate, and ultimately sunset those systems after their functions have been subsumed or replaced
  • Accountable for system administration, information system security accreditation, database administration, physical infrastructure maintenance, and software development
  • Initiate, supervise, and/or develop requirements from a project's inception to conclusion for complex to extremely complex programs
  • Provide strategic advice, technical guidance, and expertise to program and project staff
  • Provide detailed analysis, evaluation, and recommendations for improvements, optimization development, and/or maintenance efforts for client-specific or mission-critical challenges/issues
Requirements
  • ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TOP SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • TEN (10) or more years of experience related to Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering and/or Quality Auditing
Preferred Qualifications
  • Linux Admin, VMWare vSphere 6/7 experience, SPLUNK Server administration, Dell Server, and SAN Storage hardware experience
  • Experience with Docker, Microsoft SQL, Oracle databases, Angular, JavaScript, including Spring Boot, Spring, and a focus on cloud skillsets, specifically AWS solution architecture
