About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer SME to join our team at Guidehouse. As a key member of our technology consulting team, you will provide technical leadership and expertise to drive the success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement software testing strategies and plans to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Perform application testing, validate bugs, and isolate issues to ensure timely resolution.
  • Write and initiate tests, analyze and report test results in a ticketing system to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Manage configuration, change, and release management processes to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Maintain legacy systems, perform minor enhancements to existing applications, and ensure continued authority to operate.
  • Administer system security accreditation, database administration, physical infrastructure maintenance, and software development.
  • Develop and manage project requirements from inception to conclusion for complex to extremely complex programs.
  • Provide strategic advice, technical guidance, and expertise to program and project staff.
  • Conduct detailed analysis, evaluation, and recommendations for improvements, optimization, development, and maintenance efforts.
  • Consult with clients to define needs or problems, supervise studies, and lead surveys to collect and analyze data.
  • May supervise others.
Requirements
  • An active and maintained Top Secret Federal or DoD security clearance.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Ten (10) or more years of experience related to Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering and/or Quality Auditing.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Linux Admin, VMWare vSphere 6/7 experience, SPLUNK Server administration, Dell Server, and SAN Storage hardware experience.
  • Experience with Docker, Microsoft SQL, Oracle databases, Angular, JavaScript, Spring Boot, Spring, and cloud skillsets, specifically AWS solution architecture.
  • Strong Oracle database and MS SQL experience.
