Role Overview:
The Fleet Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the management and maintenance of the vehicle fleet. This position involves ensuring that all vehicles are in optimal condition and compliant with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct and oversee vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all fleet-related inquiries.
  • Establish and maintain preventative maintenance schedules for all vehicles.
  • Manage the renewal process for DMV license plates.
  • Coordinate the fueling operations for emergency generators.
  • Assist in the development and execution of emergency response strategies.
  • Utilize fleet management software for accurate documentation and reporting.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management review.
  • Provide training and support to other staff members.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associate's degree in Public or Business Administration is preferred.
  • At least three years of experience in fleet management or a related field.
  • Must possess a valid Virginia driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a criminal history and background check.
Work Environment: This role may involve exposure to various environmental hazards, including extreme weather conditions, noise, and chemicals.
Physical Requirements: Candidates must be capable of lifting heavy objects and working in diverse physical environments.
