Role Overview:
As a Fleet Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the management and maintenance of the vehicle fleet. Your role will include the following key responsibilities:
- Conduct and oversee vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Serve as the primary coordinator for all fleet-related activities.
- Establish and implement preventative maintenance schedules for all vehicles.
- Manage the renewal process for DMV license plates.
- Coordinate the fueling operations for emergency generators.
- Assist in the development and execution of emergency response strategies.
- Utilize software systems for accurate documentation and reporting.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for stakeholders.
- Provide training and support to other staff members.
To be considered for this position, candidates should meet the following qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Associate's degree in Public or Business Administration is preferred.
- A minimum of three years of experience in Fleet or Facilities management.
- Possession of a valid VA driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a criminal history and background check.
Be prepared for potential exposure to extreme weather conditions, noise, chemicals, and bio-hazards.
Physical Demands:
The role requires the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various physical environments.
