This role offers a competitive salary starting at $60k based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implementing and executing the directives of the Executive Chef with precision.
  • Capable of performing all roles on the line and assisting team members during peak times.
  • Overseeing the preparation of all menu offerings.
  • Thorough understanding of workplace safety and emergency protocols.
  • Efficiently managing order expediting to maintain kitchen workflow.
  • Utilizing standard recipe cards and plating guides effectively.
  • Conducting line checks, including temperature assessments of refrigeration, food rotation, and freshness verification.
  • Contributing to the development and execution of daily specials.
  • Coordinating closing duties for kitchen staff and ensuring all tasks are completed.
  • Maintaining high standards of food quality and seasonal relevance, while training staff to uphold THE ONE GROUP's culinary standards.
  • Possessing strong mathematical and communication skills for inventory management and requisition processes.
  • Collaborating closely with team members to ensure adherence to company protocols.
  • Upholding A+ standards for kitchen cleanliness and complying with Health Department regulations.
  • Participating in weekly management meetings and addressing any issues during monthly kitchen meetings.
  • Assisting chefs with daily ordering and weekly scheduling.
  • Monitoring kitchen crew to prevent breakage.
  • Inspiring and motivating kitchen personnel.
Financial Accountability:
  • Assisting in the monitoring of daily labor and food cost reports to ensure alignment with budgetary expectations.
  • Reviewing monthly profit and loss statements and addressing any discrepancies.
  • Ensuring all overtime is pre-approved.
