Position Summary:
As the Culinary Operations Supervisor at Cedar Point Amusement Park, you will oversee the daily kitchen operations, ensuring a seamless experience in the back of house (BOH) environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and guide kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow.
2. Guarantee that all food items are prepared according to established standards to maintain quality and control costs.
3. Ensure compliance with daily sanitation and cleaning protocols.
4. Conduct regular inspections to verify food safety and quality.
5. Provide assistance and support to the Kitchen Manager/Chef.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Capability to endure long shifts while remaining on your feet.
- Proven ability to lead a team in a high-energy kitchen setting.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must successfully pass a mandatory (or random) drug screening, in accordance with company policy, unless restricted by state or provincial law.
- Must be able to pass a background investigation, if 18 years or older, which may encompass credit, criminal history, driving records, previous employment, educational background, and personal references, in accordance with company policy, unless restricted by federal, state, or provincial law.
