Job Overview

As a Territory Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing, cultivating, and expanding a designated sales region of current clients while also identifying prospective customers and opportunities. You will develop and implement a strategic sales plan that aligns with growth projections and sales objectives. Your role will require you to gain in-depth knowledge of the assigned product lines, positioning yourself as a valuable resource for solutions to your clients, and fostering successful relationships both internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow a sales territory with a focus on client engagement and satisfaction.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to capture them.
  • Conduct regular client visits to ensure strong relationships and understand their needs.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience in automation and controls sales, with a solid understanding of AC & DC Drives, PLCs, Industrial Ethernet, Sensors, and Control products.
  • A degree in engineering is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated success in previous roles showcasing technical expertise.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as CRM software.
  • Mechanical and/or electro-mechanical skills are advantageous.
