Position Summary

We are currently seeking a Material Handler for the 2nd Shift. Under the guidance of the Production Supervisor, the Material Handler is tasked with the physical handling of finished goods, returns, and addressing inventory discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute physical processing of canceled jobs, production returns, and scale-downs.
  • Repack and salvage finished products as necessary.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Facilitate the proper storage of materials.
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment.

Qualifications

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Experience:

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing setting is advantageous.

Additional Requirements:

  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
  • Basic mathematical skills (addition and subtraction) are necessary.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
  • Capacity to bend, twist, reach, push, and lift for extended periods.
  • Willingness to obtain certification on wave and order picker equipment.
  • Must be able to work while standing for the duration of the shift.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members to achieve objectives.
  • Exhibit a strong sense of urgency in all tasks.
