Position Overview

The Warehouse Operations Specialist II is responsible for executing a variety of tasks related to inventory management and warehouse operations. This role involves receiving, processing, storing, and distributing products and materials within a refrigerated environment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Loading and Unloading: Efficiently load and unload trucks, trailers, and pallets, ensuring items are sorted and placed in designated areas based on established criteria.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain organization and rotation of stock, ensuring all coolers and warehouse areas are neat and orderly.
  • Order Fulfillment: Accurately prepare customer orders for shipping, verifying all information for correctness prior to dispatch.
  • Record Keeping: Utilize computer systems to scan and maintain accurate inventory records, completing daily pick sheets and assisting with periodic inventory counts.
  • Safety and Cleanliness: Uphold a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to achieve operational goals and address any irregularities in product handling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• 1 to 2 years of experience in warehouse, distribution, or related fields preferred.

• Certification for operating forklifts or other equipment may be necessary.

Skills and Abilities

• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

• Proficient in basic math and inventory counting.

• Ability to adapt to changing work conditions and follow detailed instructions.

• Attention to detail and accuracy in task execution.

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
