Job Overview

The Warehouse Operations Specialist II is responsible for executing a variety of warehouse and inventory management tasks. This role involves receiving, processing, storing, moving, and distributing items (including products, materials, ingredients, equipment, and supplies) within a warehouse or refrigerated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Efficiently load and unload pallets and cases, ensuring items are sorted and placed in designated areas according to established sequences, such as size, type, or product code.

· Manage the storage of perishable items in the cooler, ensuring proper organization and rotation of stock.

· Maintain cleanliness and organization within all warehouse and cooler spaces.

· Accurately fulfill requisitions and distribute materials, tools, or other items to production staff as needed.

· Prepare customer orders for shipping, ensuring efficient loading onto transport vehicles.

· Verify shipment details for accuracy, including bills of lading, and inspect products for cleanliness and condition prior to dispatch.

· Utilize computer systems to scan and maintain inventory records accurately.

· Complete daily inventory sheets, cycle counts, and assist with periodic inventory assessments.

· Monitor materials and equipment throughout the process, reporting any discrepancies or concerns to management.

· Perform additional tasks such as sorting, bundling, and labeling products as required.

· Operate forklifts and other machinery to facilitate the movement of inventory.

· Adhere to all safety and quality regulations, ensuring compliance with corporate and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent is required.

· A minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in warehouse, distribution, or production environments is preferred.

· Certification for operating forklifts or related equipment may be necessary.

Skills and Abilities:

· Ability to work collaboratively within a team to achieve operational goals.

· Proficient in basic math and inventory counting.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Capable of performing routine adjustments to machinery.

· Adaptable to changing work conditions and able to follow instructions effectively.

· Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.

· Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
