About the Company

  • The Finance and Accounting Teams are divided between the General Ledger department (where this position is situated), Accounts Payable/Procurement, and Financial Planning and Analysis.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:

  • Manage all month-end close processes, including:
    • Reviewing balance sheet accounts
    • Uploading journal entries
    • Preparing reconciliations
    • Assisting with flux analysis
  • Produce reports on a monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc basis, as requested by management.
  • Act as a liaison between the Accounting, Finance, and Procurement departments.

Background and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a Staff Accountant role, with a minimum of 1 year of ownership of the month-end close process.
  • Experience with Workday is highly desirable.
