About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Engineer to join our Mechanical Produce Engineering Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of testing methods and equipment, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to evaluate designs and ensure product reliability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement testing methods and equipment.
  • Plan and arrange labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices.
  • Provide test area with parameters for sample testing and specify tests to be performed.
  • Compile data and define changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements.
  • Support CAPA's (Corrective & Preventive Actions) & RPI's (Released Product Investigations).
  • Collaborate with Reliability and Manufacturing partners to determine and execute appropriate tests/assessments to evaluate supplier, process, material, design, component, or use-condition changes prior to implementation.
  • Collaborate with Reliability, Manufacturing, Materials, R&D, and Safety Engineering to investigate product performance issues/returned product analysis to identify root cause(s) and implement corrective action(s).
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in biomedical or mechanical engineering required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 5 years of experience.
  • Experience in the Medical Device Industry, specifically with troubleshooting Cardiac Rhythm Management products.
  • Ability to work well under moderate pressure and maintain a positive, service-oriented quality focused attitude.
  • Experience working individually, in a group, across functions, and with manufacturing partners and or physician / customer partners.
  • Proficient in writing test protocols and test reports.
  • Experience in coding, scripting, and/or advanced data analysis methods.
  • Experienced with FDA and ISO medical device standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team player who works effectively and proactively on cross-functional teams.
