Senior Flight Test Engineer

Join Reliable Robotics as a Senior Flight Test Engineer and be part of a team that's revolutionizing aviation safety. As a key member of our Integration & Test team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the proper function of mechanical, electrical, and flight control systems onboard our aircraft.

Responsibilities
  • Verify the function and capabilities of modified flight control systems for a remotely operated autoflight system.
  • Ensure the proper build-up of functions and capabilities, from lab testing to vehicle integration.
  • Act as the responsible engineer for the vehicle and test director during flight campaigns.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess system-level risk and develop test plans.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or related discipline.
  • 7+ years of experimental flight test experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to draft test plans, test cards, and test hazard analyses.
  • FAA private pilot's license (or greater) and experience with aeronautical VHF radio calls.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience assembling components in a production environment.
  • Proficiency in computer science languages (Python or similar).
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
