Job Description

LanceSoft is seeking a highly skilled Reliability Engineer II to join our team. As a key member of our Cardiac Rhythm Management group, you will be responsible for developing and coordinating technical reliability studies and evaluations of engineering design concepts.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and coordinate technical reliability studies and evaluations of engineering design concepts
  • Recommend design or test methods and statistical process control procedures for achieving required levels of product reliability
  • Complete risk analysis studies of new design and processes
  • Compile and analyze performance reports and process control statistics
  • Investigate and analyze relevant variables potentially affecting product and processes
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, biomedical engineering, or chemical engineering
  • One or more years' experience in medical device product development or equivalent
  • Solid understanding of engineering fundamentals and proven hands-on electronic/mechanical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to perform as a contributing member of cross-functional teams
  • Analytical with strong problem-solving abilities and creative resolution skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting, coordinating, and/or leading projects
  • Remediation experience (DHF, regulatory compliance, e.g., EU MDR, UKCA)
  • Experience in development of new or existing medical devices
  • Knowledge of industry standards (ISO and regulations, specifically EU MDR and UKCA)
