Job Title: Senior Flight Test Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Flight Test Engineer to join our Integration & Test team at Reliable Robotics Corporation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for verifying the function and capabilities of modified flight control systems for a remotely operated autoflight system.

This role requires a strong understanding of flight control systems, experimental flight test experience, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify the end-to-end functionality of the system and ensure the ability to assess all desired test requirements.
  • Engage with multiple teams throughout the organization to ensure a thorough understanding of the vehicle's capabilities.
  • Act as the responsible engineer for the vehicle and often as test director during flight test campaigns.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree of Science or Engineering in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or related discipline.
  • 7+ years of experimental flight test experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to draft test plans, test cards, test hazard analyses, and act as test director during a flight/mission.
  • Experience with making aeronautical VHF radio calls.
  • Demonstrated ability to complete system-level risk assessments.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • FAA private pilot's (or greater) license.
  • Experience assembling components in a production environment.
  • Experience with computer science languages (Python or similar).

Reliable Robotics Corporation offers a competitive salary range of $133,000 to $217,500/annual salary + cash and stock option awards + benefits.
