LPN Job Description

The Avalon of New Albany is seeking a compassionate and skilled LPN to provide exceptional care to our residents. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents and their families.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Delegate and supervise the care provided by Quality of Life Specialists/Resident Assistants.
  • Identify and report resident medical and behavioral changes, and develop and monitor care plans.
  • Provide daily reports to the Director of Health Services, including community conditions, personnel performance, and resident needs.
  • Ensure preventative, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services are provided to residents, and coordinate care with other disciplines.
Requirements:
  • Current nursing license valid in the state of Ohio.
  • Willingness to be available for emergencies and provide on-call coverage.
  • Experience working with seniors and a passion for providing exceptional care.
