Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Implementation Specialist to join our team at the City of New Albany OH. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage project schedules, scope, budgets, resources, issues, risks, and change requests.
  • Provide proactive leadership and assistance to identify opportunities for efficiency and process improvement through the use of technology.
  • Serve as a liaison between IT and departments concerning requests, standards, expectations, and project scopes.
  • Research and evaluate technology vendors for equipment and service needs.
  • Recommend and assist in deciding on technology purchases.
  • Act as the liaison between department users and vendors regarding issues or defective products.
  • Monitor progress towards completion and provide updated reports reflecting the status to teams and department directors.
  • Manage vendor performance for the life of the project.
  • Contribute to the budgeting process by identifying upcoming purchases and obtaining quotes from vendors.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or other relevant field.
  • Considerable (3+ years) project lead, project coordination, or project management experience in a modern technical environment.
  • Scrum Master or PMP Project Management certification preferred.
