Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our General Pediatrics office at Albany Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain and accurately record patient vital signs
  • Document patient history and communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and staff
  • Participate in in-office procedures under the direction of a licensed healthcare provider
  • Perform diagnostic CLIA waived testing and venipuncture for lab testing
  • Prescription call-backs within scope of practice
  • Prepare patient charts for clinical information and maintain inventory of supplies
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Previous experience in patient care setting preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • LPN licensure in New York State required
Working Conditions

This role requires standing, walking, and lifting frequently, as well as occasional pushing, pulling, and climbing. The work environment is fast-paced and requires strong communication and teamwork skills.
