Job Title: LPN - Vascular Surgery

Albany Medical Center is seeking a skilled LPN to join our Vascular Surgery team. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will provide direct patient care and assist in various clinical functions under the direction of the attending physician, RN, Lead LPN, or practice coordinator.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Obtain and accurately record patient vital signs
  • Document patient history and communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and staff
  • Participate in in-office procedures and perform diagnostic CLIA waived testing
  • Prescribe medication and maintain patient charts
  • Ensure inventory of supplies and keep patient examination rooms stocked
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Previous experience in a patient care setting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • LPN licensure in the State of New York
Working Conditions:
  • Constant standing, walking, and talking
  • Frequent lifting, carrying, and pushing
  • Occasional climbing, balancing, and reaching
