Job Expectations:

  • Must comply with all Department of Public Health Food Safety and Sanitation Standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sweep and mop floors to maintain cleanliness.
  • Dispose of garbage and recyclables in the kitchen area.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment thoroughly.
  • Wash, rinse, and sanitize pots and pans effectively.
  • Operate commercial dishwashing machines to wash, rinse, sanitize, and store dishes, flatware, and utensils.
  • Transport food and supplies to various locations within the facility.
  • Assist in other aspects of food service operations as needed, based on abilities and training.
  • Adhere to established safety protocols, ensuring all work areas are kept clean and organized.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by the supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

A minimum of a high school education or equivalent is required.
