Territory Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Representative to join our team at Holt Ag Solutions. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling new and/or used Ag equipment to our customers and potential customers in the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities- Work on specific accounts, including responsibility for growing revenue within those accounts.
- Maintain customer relationships and set and meet sales targets to increase revenue.
- Work with the sales manager to devise effective territory sales and marketing strategies.
- Analyze data to find the most efficient sales methods.
- Meet with customers to address concerns and provide solutions.
- Discover sales opportunities and present products and services to prospective customers.
- Participate in industry or promotional events to cultivate customer relationships.
- Monitor competition within the assigned region.
- Prepare and submit reports to the sales manager.
- Work with sales and rental coordinators in processing of paperwork on sales and rental transactions.
- Knowledge of Challenger products and other Ag-related equipment.
- Knowledge of PC applications with Microsoft Office and/or mobile sales office.
- Self-starter with excellent time management and negotiating skills.
- Ability to read and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
An associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or five years agricultural-related sales experience with heavy equipment.
