Job Title: Patient Care Specialist

OrthoNY, LLP is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Care Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring seamless care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate surgeries, appointments, and medical documentation
  • Act as a liaison between providers and patients
  • Perform follow-up related to past, present, or future office visits
  • Schedule surgery and book pre/post-op appointments
  • Complete paperwork and handle correspondence
  • Respond to incoming tasks and calls
  • Coordinate provider schedules and communicate with case managers
Requirements:
  • High school diploma required, associate or bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3 years of experience in an office or medical setting
  • Surgical scheduling experience and/or LPN license a plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EMR systems
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
