Position Overview

Our Sleep Center is seeking a part-time Senior Sleep Study Coordinator to enhance our dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the scheduling of sleep assessments and manage daytime nap evaluations.
  • Facilitate home study setups and analyze overnight polysomnography (PSG) recordings.
  • Ensure compliance with company protocols and the standards set by the AASM.
  • Maintain the work schedules of sleep technologists.
  • Conduct comprehensive polysomnographic testing and detailed analysis.
  • Prepare and calibrate testing equipment, apply electrodes and sensors, and perform routine positive airway pressure (PAP) mask fittings.
  • Conduct polygraph calibration at the start and conclusion of each recording, making necessary adjustments.
  • Provide age-appropriate care and education for patients across all age groups, including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.
  • Assist in scoring polysomnographic records.
  • Set up DME-CPAP equipment and instruct patients on its use and maintenance.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment and manage inventory evaluations.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned based on business needs.
Qualifications

Applicants should possess a high school diploma or equivalent. A successful completion of a polysomnography program of at least one year from a state-licensed or nationally accredited educational facility is required, along with an Authorization Certificate for Polysomnographic Technologists from the State of New York. RPSGT certification is mandatory, as well as a current BLS certification.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly salary range for this position is between $24.00 and $34.00.
