Position Overview
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Patient Services Representative to support our healthcare operations. This role is vital in ensuring a seamless experience for patients as they navigate their healthcare journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service while greeting and registering patients.
- Assist patients with scheduling appointments and managing inquiries.
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records.
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and demographic information.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to uphold organizational standards.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in ongoing training and development initiatives.
Work Schedule: This position requires flexibility to work a 38-hour week, including four 10-hour shifts, across various days.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in customer service or healthcare.
- Proficient in using computer systems and software.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in a healthcare reception role.
- Familiarity with electronic health records.
- Basic understanding of medical terminology.
