Job Summary

The State of Kansas is seeking a highly skilled Human Services Assistant to support the Economic and Employment Support (EES) program. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for receiving and processing EES applications, screening and registering customer information, and performing data entry and cross-matching tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the BPM process by receiving and processing EES applications, including data entry and cross-matching tasks.
  • Process incoming EES-related documents, including faxes and mail, and accurately match documents to the correct electronic case file.
  • Provide front desk coverage and perform receptionist duties, including determining client needs and referring to appropriate personnel for assistance.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Security Clearance: A background check is required for all positions with the Department for Children and Families (DCF) as a condition of employment.
  • Tax Clearance: A valid/current Kansas Tax Clearance Certificate must be submitted prior to employment.
