Job Overview

A well-respected insurance firm, APR, is seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to manage and service a portfolio of commercial lines accounts. This role involves investigating and resolving client inquiries regarding policies and coverage, as well as marketing and quoting new business and renewals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Policy Management: In-depth understanding of Property and Casualty commercial accounts, ensuring competitive coverage/cost ratios for clients.
  • Client Support: Investigate and resolve client inquiries regarding policies and coverage.
  • New Business Development: Skilled in marketing and quoting new business and renewals.
  • Technical Expertise: Familiarity with various carrier underwriters and online rating tools.
  • Account Renewal Management: Manage and organize information for account renewals.
Qualifications:
  • Insurance Industry Experience: 5-7 years of relevant experience in the insurance industry, specifically in servicing commercial accounts.
  • Certifications: Current Property and Casualty license.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Applied (TAM or EPIC) or AMS360 software is preferred.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the Insurance/Brokerage industry.
  • Technical Skills: Technical expertise in the relevant product area or industry.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The estimated salary for this role is $75,000 based on national averages and considering the location in Las Vegas, NV.
