About the Role
  • Lead a team of portfolio managers and oversee the management of a combined portfolio of C&I and CRE loans.
  • Conduct annual reviews, stress tests, and monitor loan portfolios to ensure optimal performance.
  • Mentor and train junior staff members to develop their skills and expertise.
  • Develop high-level reports for executive management and participate in strategic planning to enhance portfolio performance.
  • Serve as a deputy to the department head, contributing to leadership and strategic direction.
Requirements
  • College degree and minimum of ten years of experience in managing complex commercial loan portfolios.
  • Formal credit training and strong analytical and Excel skills.
  • Proven leadership capabilities with experience in training and mentoring staff.
  • Familiarity with middle market deals and complex credit situations, including workouts.
  • Experience with lending underwriting and collections.
