Educator for Virtual Special Needs Students

As a remote special education teacher with VocoVision, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students with special needs while enjoying a flexible work-from-home schedule.
Salary DetailsThe hourly pay for this position is $35 per hour, providing a competitive income for individuals who are passionate about teaching and making a difference in their students' lives.
About the RoleThis full-time, remote position involves working with students in grades K-5, providing specialized instruction and support to help them succeed academically and personally. We are looking for an educator who is not only knowledgeable in special education but also has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as they will be working closely with parents and other educators to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students.
Required Qualifications and Skills- A bachelor's or master's degree in special education or a related field
- An active special education certification in New Mexico
- A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably with virtual learning
- Experience working with students with special needs
- Independent contractor status required
- A willingness to obtain liability insurance
- The ability to pass a basic technology screening prior to being hired
