Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Information Operator to join our team at the Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority (TARTA). Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely and professional responses to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Schedule passenger trip data and maintain accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Coordinate with TARTA staff to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of TARTA's service area, routes, and schedules.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to resolve customer issues and improve service quality.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of our transportation services.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to adapt to new software and technology.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Physical demands include sitting, talking, and hearing, with occasional standing, walking, and lifting up to 10 pounds.
