Job Title: Fund Development Manager

WACOSA seeks a highly skilled Fund Development Manager to oversee all aspects of fund development, ensuring financial stability and advancing the organization's mission.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive fund development plan, aligning with the organization's strategic goals.
  • Manage all fundraising activities, including giving campaigns, grants, special events, and major gifts.
  • Lead donor relations, cultivating existing donors and identifying prospective donors for various giving programs.
  • Represent WACOSA at community events, generating organization awareness and supporting fundraising responsibilities.
  • Manage grant activity, including research, proposal creation, submission, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director, Admin Team, and Leadership Team to complete all phases of the grant process.
  • Plan and coordinate fundraising events, including benefit breakfasts, donor appreciation events, and donor tours.
  • Maintain donor records and prepare summary reports of fundraising activities for the Administrative Team, Leadership Team, and Board of Directors.
  • Work with third-party vendors to coordinate giving campaigns and events.
  • Develop and implement a strategic marketing plan for development, including brochures, agency newsletters, annual reports, direct mail, advertising, website content, e-blasts, and events.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in fund development, grants management, and donor relations.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop and implement comprehensive fund development plans, aligning with organizational goals.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
