Job Description

Job Title: Senior Billing Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Billing Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Consultative Search Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and performing all activities related to the billing process, providing follow-up support to billing attorneys, billing secretaries, practice office staff, and clients in all aspects related to billing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a Liaison: Provide expert-level subject matter support to billing attorneys, secretaries, practice office billing staff, and clients' staff by responding to internal and external inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Communicate with Customers: Ensure customer requests from the billing staff are being met, update customers on the status of tasks and/or projects, and liaise with global Billing teams to provide local-level logistical and technical support.
  • Liaise with Finance Committee: Support Finance Committee objectives, prepare for and participate in quarterly Finance Committee calls, and facilitate any actionable next steps resulting from calls.
  • Liaise with eBilling Team: Ensure corrective actions are in place for future submissions.
  • Generate and Review Proformas: Generate and review Proformas from Elite 3E (pre-existing or generating new charges).

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma, with a Bachelor's degree or an equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of six (6) years of experience in general accounting practices, including a minimum of five (5) years of experience with law firm billing processes and practices.
  • Prior experience with a professional services billing operations system.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • The ability to foster a growth mindset and drive continuous improvement.
  • The ability to work collaboratively, effectively communicate with various teams, and build strong relationships to foster partnerships.
  • The ability to take on projects and complete them independently.
  • Analytical skills needed to correctly comprehend and communicate data.
  • The ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously without compromising quality.
