Job Responsibilities:
Provide support to the Producer and Marketing Account Executive by delivering expert knowledge, technical insights, and exceptional client service to both clients and account teams.
Make independent decisions regarding client coverage analysis, recommend necessary coverage, and propose new coverage lines for existing clients as needed.
Establish and nurture strong connections with carriers and manage account marketing as directed by the Producer or Marketing Account Executive, primarily focusing on smaller or less complex accounts.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Build and sustain vital client and carrier relationships through various communication channels.
2. Develop and implement a comprehensive client service strategy for all assigned accounts, addressing their business requirements and risk management objectives.
4. Actively seek cross-selling opportunities and recommend new coverage lines.
5. Collaborate with the Producer and/or Marketing Account Executive to oversee the renewal process for assigned clients.
6. Organize meetings with clients and/or Producers to present renewal options and supporting documentation to secure acceptance or explore alternative market options.
7. Lead the marketing efforts for accounts as requested by the Producer and/or Marketing Account Executive.
8. Prepare marketing materials for the Producer or client as appropriate and provide necessary information to the Marketing Account Executive when applicable.
9. Complete the implementation process and ensure all relevant forms are delivered to clients in conjunction with other service team members.
11. Assist clients and staff with inquiries related to administration, billing, claims, and problem resolution as needed.
12. Demonstrate proficiency in client management systems, ensuring updates to policies, logging activities, and managing follow-ups effectively.
13. Mentor team members and provide guidance as necessary.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and training
- Five years of relevant experience in the insurance sector
- Appropriate insurance licenses
- Strong interpersonal skills to cultivate and maintain positive business relationships with clients and market contacts; including excellent communication abilities and a service-oriented approach
- Leadership capabilities to offer direction, constructive feedback, and training while motivating others to enhance productivity and team morale
- Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Willingness to travel occasionally for overnight assignments
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree
- Certification in relevant field
- Experience with Requests for Proposal
