Responsibilities:
  • Assist physicians, providers, and patients with the maintenance of medical records, both paper and electronic.
  • Support HIM functions, including scanning, hospital admissions, clinical consenting, discharge packets, auditing, medical records requests, and troubleshooting.
  • Act as a liaison with providers, clinic staff, patients, and external partners.
Requirements:
  • Associate of Arts Degree in Health Information Management or a related field.
  • Minimum one year of experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with computer data entry skills and Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Ability to interact with internal and external customers in a flexible and accommodating manner.
