Job Summary:

L3Harris Technologies is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Specialist to join our team. As an Electrical Engineering Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating electronic equipment and systems for complex, high-performance hardware systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design circuit card assemblies from start to finish, including digital HDL and/or analog design, PCB layout, and qualification testing.
  • Apply specialized skill sets, including digital, analog, FPGA, DSP, CCA, power, antenna, RF, and control systems knowledge as required.
  • Select components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability.
  • Use high-level programming languages to configure programmable logic devices.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including electrical test procedures, specifications, and design reviews.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Travel up to 30% for system installation and incidental field testing/troubleshooting.

Requirements:

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering or comparable discipline with a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant technical experience.
  • Graduate degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
  • Proficiency in either analog and power or FPGA design required.
  • Working knowledge of FPGA design and Verilog or VHDL.
  • Active DoD Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient in LTSpice, Cadence/Allegro PCB Designer, Mentor Graphics, VHDL, and Verilog using Xilinx Vivado.
  • Experience with Class-D Power Amplifiers, Digital Signal Processing for audio, impedance matching.
  • Experience with EVMS and Control Account Management.
