Job Summary:

Dufresne Spencer Group is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Floor Support - Retail Merchandise Handler to join our team. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the showroom floor is organized and visually appealing, while also providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and maintain the showroom floor, including arranging merchandise and ensuring a visually appealing display.
  • Load and unload customer purchases, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
  • Receive and process furniture shipments, including inspecting for damage and ensuring accurate inventory.
  • Assemble furniture as needed, using a variety of tools and equipment.
  • Assist with inventory management, including counting and reconciling inventory levels.
  • Maintain a clean and organized back room storage area, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork, including inventory reports and customer receipts.
  • Perform light housekeeping and janitorial duties, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for customers.

Requirements:

  • Ability to safely move up to 50 lbs or more with assistance.
  • Ability to carry out goals and instructions, and to follow through on assignments.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, stand, climb, and walk frequently.
  • Demonstrates a customer focus and provides excellent service to customers.
